Booth Quantel Medical Ellex ESCRS

Them’s Concept had the pleasure to create and realize the stand of Quantel Medical Ellex for the 26th edition of the ESCRS congress.

This year the congress took place in Amsterdam from 8 to 11 October 2021.

The congress brings together optical professionals from all over the world.

The ESCRS was founded in 1991 to promote education and research in the field of implantation and refractive surgery and to advance and promote the study and practice of ophthalmology. The ESCRS seeks to promote and support research in the field of intraocular lens implantation and refractive surgery and the dissemination of its useful results.

The ESCRS currently has more than 7,500 members in 130 countries around the world.

Quantel Medical was founded in 1993 and is a subsidiary of the French group Lumibird. Its activities are the development, manufacturing and marketing of innovative solutions in lasers and medical ultrasound.

Present and recognized for more than 15 years in the field of ophthalmology, Quantel Medical opens in 2018 to new markets by offering a range of Point-of-Care ultrasound scanners ideally responding, among others, to imaging needs in general medicine, musculoskeletal, emergency medicine and anesthesia / resuscitation.

In July 2020, Lumibird Medical acquired Ellex, an Australian company with offices in Japan, the United States and France, which also has a strong reputation and experience in the international ophthalmic market.
